Premières Traces – Resort opening weekend

Val d’Isère kicks off its winter season with “Premières Traces”: the first days of skiing, free trials of the latest ski and snowboard gear on the snow front, entertainment, DJs, a marching band, and a concert.
Critérium de la Première Neige (Men’s Alpine Skiing World Cup)

The world’s best skiers will gather on the legendary Face de Bellevarde for two days of World Cup racing, featuring a Giant Slalom on Saturday and a Slalom on Sunday, in a lively and festive atmosphere.
The Magic of Christmas

Val d’Isère is decked out in festive decorations for a week of Christmas celebrations, featuring magical activities and events for all ages in the heart of the village.
New Year’s Eve Celebration & Fireworks

Join us at the base of the Face de Bellevarde to ring in the New Year with a DJ set on the snow front and a fireworks display at midnight.
Classicaval Festival
