Cross-country skiing
In Tignes, enjoy two areas dedicated to cross-country skiing.
Work on your cardio
The Lake/Golf Course Area
Located near the “Les Chartreux” bus stop, this cross-country skiing area takes you past the golf course (open in summer) and along the frozen lake. Easily accessible without a ski lift, this area lets you enjoy cross-country skiing without too much hassle.
The Marais District
Located next to the “Aiguille Rouge” and “Marais” chairlift stations, this area in the heart of the mountains is ideal for enjoying the soothing view of the surrounding landscape.
- To access the area, you’ll need to have at least a pedestrian pass.
These two areas allow beginners to discover this activity in a beautiful setting. As for more experienced climbers, they’ll enjoy the combination of ascents and descents to work on their cardio.
Please note
The two trails in the Tignes ski area are not reserved exclusively for cross-country skiing. Pedestrians are also allowed in these areas.
And what about Val d’Isère?
Our neighbors in the Val d’Aval region also have several areas dedicated to cross-country skiing. Visit their website for more information.
