Getting around

Free shuttles and soft mobility

Because a car-free resort is a resort that breathes, Tignes is going one step further in its efforts to improve mobility within the resort.

Shuttles and soft mobility in the Tignes resort

Because a car-free resort is a resort that breathes, Tignes is going one step further in its efforts to promote mobility within the resort. In Tignes, cars stay in the car park.

To make it easier for you to get around the resort and between the different villages of Tignes, free shuttle buses run at regular intervals throughout the day in summer and winter.

In summer, you can also get around the resort between Tignes le Lac, Tignes le Lavachet and Tignes Val Claret on Dott electric scooters for a short hire charge.

In winter, the experience of walking on the frozen lake is a must, and allows you to link Tignes le Lac and Tignes Val Claret quickly.

Circuits

Tignes has 3 main free shuttle bus routes.

  1. The “Tignes 2100” circuit : this provides a quick and easy link between Tignes le Lavachet, Tignes le Lac and Tignes Val Claret.
  2. The “Tignes 1800” circuit : linking Tignes 1800 to Tignes 2100.
  3. The “Tignes les Brévières” circuit : linking Tignes les Brévières to Tignes 1800.

There is also the “Tignes – Val d’Isère” circuit which, as its name suggests, links Tignes to our neighbours in Val d’Isère.

Although the shuttles run regularly, we advise you to take the time to check the timetables so you don’t have to wait too long at the stops.

You will find below the shuttle bus timetables for the different routes. You can also download the Tignes application, where you’ll find the same timetables as well as the Zenbus module, which lets you follow the shuttle bus routes in real time.

Please note

In winter, conditions can sometimes be difficult due to the vagaries of the weather. So on snowy days, the shuttles may be a little late.
