Together, let’s protect our environment
Tignes is THE favourite playground for sports and adrenaline fans, right in the heart of the Vanoise National Park and the Tignes – Champagny Nature Reserve!
Unfortunately, at the end of each winter season, undesirable traces of man’s passage are visible. Could it be carelessness, an ‘accident’ or simply a lack of awareness of the consequences of certain uncivilised and ecological actions? Whatever the cause, many ski poles, gloves, hats, piste maps, telephones, cigarette butts, etc. reappear when the snow melts and at the end of the summer, particularly under ski lifts.
You too can help us preserve this incredible playground for future generations by taking part in our clean-up day.
The day’s programme
The day begins with a litter pick in the morning and continues in the afternoon with a number of stalls raising awareness of environmental issues. There will also be a refreshment stand and a food stall on site.
- Between 08:00 and 09:00: welcoming participants, handing out equipment
- Morning: clean-up (resort centre + mountains)
- From 12:00: weighing and sorting of waste with the Mountain Riders association, partner village, workshops, ecological discovery and awareness-raising activities…
