Let’s work together to protect our environment
Tignes is THE favorite playground for sports and adrenaline enthusiasts, right in the heart of the Vanoise National Park and the Tignes-Champagny Nature Reserve!
Unfortunately, at the end of every winter season, unwanted traces of human activity are visible. Is this due to carelessness, “accidents,” or simply a lack of awareness of the consequences that certain inconsiderate and environmentally harmful actions can have? Whatever the causes may be, numerous ski poles, gloves, hats, trail maps, cell phones, cigarette butts, and other items reappear as the snow melts and at the end of summer, particularly beneath the ski lifts.
You, too, can help us preserve this incredible playground for future generations: join us for this cleanup day!
The Day’s Schedule
The day begins with a morning cleanup and continues in the afternoon with several booths aimed at raising everyone’s awareness of environmental issues. You’ll also find a refreshment stand and a food stand on site.
- Between 08:30 and 09:00: welcoming participants, distributing materials
- Morning: Cleaning (downtown area + mountain)
- Starting at 11:00: weighing and sorting of waste with the Mountain Riders association, a partner organization, as well as activities to explore and raise awareness about the environment…
