On 14 July, it’s off to Les Brévières!
Every summer, Tignes celebrates 14 July in the village of Les Brévières! There is plenty of entertainment for all the family during the day, plus a meal, broadcast of the World Cup football match (France v Spain), followed by a ball: a friendly atmosphere guaranteed!
The programme*

From 12:00
- Refreshments and food available all day (provided by local traders from Les Brévières): burgers, chips, hot dogs, paninis, BBQ, crêpes (savoury and sweet), desserts, etc.
- Sales of charcuterie from La Salaison de St Hubert
- Sales of chouchous and candy floss
- Sales of handcrafted wooden furniture and handmade soaps (Altimousse)…
- Presentation and book signings of historical novels, and a photo exhibition of old Tignes
- Flea market organised by the Tignes CCAS (until 18:00)
From 13:00
- Pétanque tournament in pairs. On-the-spot registration from 1.00 pm to 1.30 pm, limited places available
- Laser tag, spike ball, wooden games… free to play
From 14:00 to 18:00
- Axe-throwing tournament (ages 14 and over)
- Face-painting stand
From 15:00 to 17:00
- Orienteering (no prior registration required; meet at the venue)
Freestyle Foot
No prior registration required; meet at the venue
- 14:00 to 15:00 / 16:00 to 17:00: taster session for 7–12-year-olds (max. 20 people)
- 15:00 to 16:00 / 17:00 to 18:00: introductory session for those aged 13 and over (max. 20 people)
- 18:00: freestyle football show
From 16:30 to 17:45
- A sensory tour of the Church of Les Brévières engaging all the senses, organised by FACIM. Meet in front of the Church of Les Brévières: discover the astonishing story of St Peter in Chains within the Baroque church of Les Brévières through a sensory experience. Baroque art through sight, smell, touch, taste and hearing. Quite simply astonishing!
Registration required from 13:00 at the Tignes events marquee (limited places available).
In the evening
- From 18:15 to 20:30: concert with the band Hot Piece of Brass
- From 21:00: screening of the French national team’s World Cup semi-final on a giant screen
- The match will be followed by a dance with DJ Mika AKF until 01:00
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the heatwave warning in force from 10 to 20 July in Savoie, the prefecture has banned all fireworks displays in the department during this period. Unfortunately, we are unable to go ahead with the display planned for 14 July.
Free shuttle buses
A special shuttle service has been set up free of charge for the event, running between Tignes Val Claret (roundabout), Tignes le Lac (bus station), Tignes 1800 (roundabout) and Tignes les Brévières (north car park entrance).
