Dedicated areas for beginners
Tignes’ beginners’ areas give you the chance to take to the slopes at an affordable price, so you can feel confident and safe. These are areas with free pistes and lifts, accessible without a ski pass. The ideal place to start and progress before taking on the whole resort.

Looking for some family fun? There’s nothing like a sledging session on one of our free toboggan runs!
Paid sledging runs and activities
For even more thrills, our service providers offer two tobogganing activities :
- Snowtubing: slide down a buoy alone or with others! Open to children aged 3 and over. Thrills guaranteed!
- Expedition Cobra: meet up at the end of the day to try out this 3-kilometer run, accessible directly from Tignes le Lac via the Palafour chairlift: it’s up to you!
