WEDNESDAY 26 MARCH - 21:00 AT TIGNESPACE
Second date of the Saison Culturelle, Oldelaf and Arnaud Joyet come to the Tignespace auditorium with the show "Opération Bretzel".
To book your tickets, go directly online

The 10 rules of good conduct on the ski slopes :
1- Respect for others: The skier (and snowboarder) must behave in such a way that he/she does not endanger or harm others either by his/her behaviour or by his/her equipment.
2- Control of speed and behaviour : The skier must adapt his speed and behaviour to his personal abilities as well as to the general conditions of the terrain and weather, the state of the snow and the density of traffic. In simple terms, do not go "full speed" down a slope in the middle of a February holiday, especially when the skier in question does not know how to stop. You should ski according to your own means and not want to follow your friends at all costs if they have a much better level...
3- Choice of direction by the one above : All those below the skier have priority. The skier who is upstream (on the side of the mountain) has a position which allows him to choose a trajectory. He must therefore make this choice in such a way as to preserve the safety of anyone below him (on the valley side). As the skier below does not have eyes in the back, it is up to the skier above to be careful not to run into him.
4- Overtaking : The overtaking can be done from above or below, from the right or from the left. However, it must always be done in a wide enough way to prevent the overtaken person from moving. Just as when a car overtakes a cyclist, you must leave some room for the skier you are overtaking.
5- When crossing the slopes or starting out: After stopping or crossing the slopes, the skier must check that he can do so without danger to himself or others. Just like when driving a car.
6- Parking: The skier must avoid parking in narrow passages or without visibility. In the event of a fall, the skier must clear the piste as quickly as possible. Do not stop behind a bump for example. Because if someone comes along quickly, it can cause damage.
7- Going up and down on foot: A skier who is obliged to go up or down a piste on foot must use the edge of the piste, taking care that neither he nor his equipment is a danger to others.
8- Respect for information, signs and markings: The skier must take into account the information on the weather conditions, the state of the slopes and the snow. He must respect the signs and markings. Do not enter a closed piste.
9- Assistance: A skier who witnesses or participates in an accident must provide assistance, in particular by sounding the alarm. If necessary, and at the request of the rescue team, he must make himself available to them. Just as in everyday life.
10- Identification: The skier, witness or actor in an accident, must make his identity known to the rescue service and/or third parties.

Patrick Pleutin, aka Bangala, painter for M, le magazine du Monde, presents a double exhibition showing Tignes from both sides: summer and winter. These series of paintings are done live on site during the painter's visits to Tignes in March and July 2024.
"Here is the world of Tignes, oxygenated and sanguine, innovative and classic, left to its own devices in what is more than a series of drawings taken from life: an opening of spurts and colors. The idea is to use drawing to investigate the reality of Tignes and its surroundings, to meet the people involved in Tignes in the architectural and natural dimensions of the site, and to set off to meet them using gouache, acrylic poscas and pigment inks on paper."

SKI AREA
For reasons of organization and safety in the ski area, lift opening and closing times have been established. Please take these times into account when planning your stay.
At the end of the day, if you are still present at the departure of a lift, our staff will inform you of the approaching closing time. After this time, it will no longer be possible to go up. You will then have to use the buses for your return.
We also ask you to respect our staff, who ensure the smooth running and safety of the resort.
SKI AREA:
To find out when the lifts open in real time, consult the “Piste and lifts” section to follow the opening of the ski area in real time.
