Winter sports enthusiasts will be thrilled that the glacier in Tignes is accessible as early as autumn time – and is one of the first to open. As of October, the snowy slopes are all yours! Easily accessible via the Perce-Neige funicular, the Grande Motte glacier is the highest point in Tignes’ ski area.
Treat yourself to a spring holiday in the mountains in Tignes – Val d’Isère, as it opens until April. Skiing is summer is also an option along more than 12 miles of high slopes, set between 11,300 and 10,000 feet, perched up on the glacier in Tignes.
