The World Cup
The Para-Alpine Ski World Cup is a series of international alpine ski competitions for athletes with disabilities. It enables athletes to compete at world level in adapted events such as slalom, giant and downhill.
The athletes are people with physical or visual disabilities. The events are therefore adapted to their specific needs, notably with the help of specialized equipment.
Organized by the FIS (Fédération Internationale de Ski), these competitions take place in various resorts, including Tignes, from February 2 to 6, 2026.
The Alpine Paraski World Cup is an important stepping stone for athletes aspiring to take part in the Paralympic Winter Games. It enables them to measure their performance against the world’s elite and qualify for higher-level competitions.
In short, this competition showcases the talent and determination of disabled skiers, while helping to promote adapted sport at international level.
