A major event

From 30 March to 5 April, the resort of Tignes and its Sports Club will be hosting the French Elite Alpine Skiing Championships. This not-to-be-missed event on the national calendar will bring together some 250 athletes to compete in four disciplines: Downhill, Super-G, Giant Slalom and Slalom.

A true end-of-season event for the French, these championships will crown the best French skiers.

Tignes, a benchmark resort

Accustomed to hosting the French national teams, particularly for pre-season preparations, Tignes is an ideal venue for this event. Sportsmen and women will find the high-quality Stade de Lognan and excellent conditions in which to excel.

Local champions to watch

For Tignes skiers like Laura Gauché and Flavio Vitale, these championships will have a special flavour. At home, they’ll be keen to shine in front of their home crowd.

An event for everyone

Beyond the competition, these championships are also a festive occasion, open to all, perfect for enjoying the show and bringing the alpine skiing season to a close in a great atmosphere.
