There are a number of playgrounds where you can play your favourite sports as a team and compete against each other in a friendly summer atmosphere.
Winning on all terrains
Teamwork is a value shared by all those who love Tignes, starting with the top sportsmen and women who come here to prepare and take their team-building courses. Beware, the altitude demands a special effort from you… unless your technique works miracles!
To cultivate team spirit, there’s nothing like a challenge between friends. Whatever the terrain, combine respect with surpassing yourself. Football, rugby, volleyball, basketball and their sand-based derivatives (beach soccer, beach volleyball, etc.) await you at the various activity centres.
Where can you find team sports pitches?
Plage des sports
At Tignes le Lac, you’ll find beach volleyball, beach soccer, beach rugby, basketball, football and a multi-sports pitch.
Lavachet activity centre
At Le Lavachet, you’ll find a volleyball court.
Plaine Olympique
At the Plaine Olympique in Val Claret, you’ll find beach volleyball pitches, a city stadium and a synthetic football stadium.
Brévières activity centre
At Les Brévières, you’ll find a city stadium.
Practical info
Dates and times
The pitches are open all day and can be booked during the opening hours of the activity centres.
Prices and bookings
- The pitches are free to use all summer long.
- Free bookings are possible (and recommended) using your My Tignes card online or at the activity centre reception desk.
- Reservation fee for the Plaine Olympique artificial turf pitch: 45.00€ /1h30
Please note: if you occupy a pitch without booking, you will have to vacate it if other people have booked it.
Equipment loan
Balls can be borrowed free of charge from the activity centres, subject to a deposit.
