Tignes, nestled in the heart of the Alps not far from the Italian border, boasts exceptional scenery. Located in the heart of the Vanoise National Park, it offers a perfect blend of water and snow-capped peaks.

Its highest point, the Grande Motte glacier, rises to 3,656 meters, while its lowest village, Tignes Les Brévières, is perched at 1,550 meters. The resort is part of the linked Tignes – Val d’Isère winter ski area, which covers 3,680 hectares and has a vertical drop of almost 2,000 meters.

Tignes’ big advantage over other Alpine resorts is its incredible natural lake, located in the heart of the mountains. A 25-hectare blue expanse, it’s the perfect destination for nature lovers.
