Getting Here by Bus
Bus transportation is provided via regular coach routes departing from Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Chambéry, or the airports in Geneva, Lyon, or Grenoble. For more information, contact the various service providers.
Departing from an airport
Are you coming from far away and did you first fly to Lyon or Geneva, for example? Bus routes run regularly, taking you directly to Bourg-Saint-Maurice and then on to Tignes.

Are you arriving by train? From Bourg-Saint-Maurice Station, you can easily transfer to the S83 line, which takes you directly to Tignes.

From Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport
Once you arrive at Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport, head to the airport bus station (Terminal 1, Level 0).
In winter, buses serving Tignes run from early December through early April.
Geneva to Tignes by bus
From the Geneva Airport
Once you arrive at the Geneva Airport, head to the airport bus station: it is located outside the terminal, on the Arrivals level. To get there, simply follow the signs for “Gare routière” from the arrivals hall.

Once you arrive at the Bourg-Saint-Maurice train station, head to the bus station: it’s located right outside the train station.
