Launched in Tignes in 1992, the Black Shoes event is a must in Tignes! Don’t know what it’s all about? Don’t panic, we’ll explain everything!
The Black Shoes is a unique and unmissable event for telemark enthusiasts, held every year in Tignes. It takes place on the last weekend in April.
For three days, the event is renowned for its festive atmosphere, both on the trails and in the evenings, bringing together genuflecting experts and newcomers alike.
Programme :
- A unique atmosphere: a mix of sport, fun and party. The days are dedicated to descents and technical challenges, and the evenings are filled with an atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else!
- An event open and accessible to all: whether you’re a beginner or an expert in telemark skiing, everyone can take part in the sessions, try out the equipment and chat with the pros
- The telemark spirit: more than just a sport, it’s a community where everyone shares the same passion, and the Black Shoes is a way of showcasing this culture
