An anthology jump!
To round off the Mountain Shaker festival week, Tignes is hosting two World Cup Big Air events for skiing and snowboarding.
Everyone is welcome to cheer on the riders and have a good time in the partner village. On site: partner stands, games and entertainment, refreshments, stage… a great evening in a great atmosphere, just the way we like it!
Ski big air
2027 World Cup
Having been based in Tignes since 2024, the Ski Big Air World Cup is once again setting up shop in the Savoyard resort.
As in previous years, head along throughout Mountain Shaker week to watch the training sessions and qualifiers, and especially on the evening of Friday 22 January for the stage final.
Snowboard big air

In 2027, Tignes will host the Snowboard Big Air World Cup. A new addition not to be missed, sure to delight snowboard enthusiasts.
For this snowboard event in Tignes, head to Mountain Shaker throughout the week to watch the training sessions and qualifiers, and on Thursday 21 January for the stage final.
By the way, what is big air?
Big Air is a freestyle discipline practiced on skis or snowboard. The aim is for athletes to launch themselves from a jump and perform tricks in the air. A single bump is shaped for competition, unlike slopestyle, which has several modules, bumps and rails spread over a course.
