The race of champions
Tignes once again sets the standard for freestyle in France, with two World Cup freestyle events featuring Slopestyle skiing, and the final World Cup event in Big Air skiing.
A real treat not only for the competing athletes, but also for all the fans and spectators who came along, whether specially or not, to enjoy the show put on by the riders over five days of training, qualifying and competition.
The meeting point is at the foot of the legendary ‘Double M’ slope in Tignes Val Claret.
What is Slopestyle?
Slopestyle is a freestyle discipline practiced on skis or snowboard. The aim is for athletes to follow a competition course, which features several modules, moguls and rails.
