The Future of Our Mountains
From Thursday 15 October to Sunday 18 October, 2026, join us for a 4-day festival between Tignes and our neighbors in Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Les Arcs. You’ll meet more than 50 speakers offering talks, workshops, and guided walks designed to encourage reflection, connection, wonder, inspiration, and a commitment to the glaciers and the ecosystems that will succeed them in mountain regions. Priority will be given to festive and participatory events—including theater, music, screenings, and evening gatherings—to raise awareness among as many people as possible through new forms of storytelling.
The event offers a multidisciplinary program that brings together mountain enthusiasts, artists, thinkers, athletes, and scientists to address today’s critical socio-ecological issues.
This festive, intergenerational festival is open to local residents, children, and anyone who is curious and passionate about the event.
