Pedestrian lifts (summer)

In Tignes, 5 lifts are accessible to pedestrians in summer. Three of them are included in the My Tignes activity card (Tovière cable car, Tufs chairlift, Palafour chairlift). The funicular and the cable car provide access to the glacier (Altitude Experiences ...).

The Tovière gondola is accessible both ascent and descent, allowing families with young children to admire the 360 ​​° panorama of the Grande Motte, the Grande Casse, the Grande Sassière or even the Mont Blanc (provide a door -baby for toddlers: no access in stroller). Hikers can choose to walk down via the Fresse ridge, the Pas de Tovière or the Bois de la Laye.

The chairlifts are only accessible for ascent (from 1,10m). The Tufs chairlift takes you to the same arrival station as the Tovière gondola (and therefore to the same hiking trails). The Palafour chairlift allows you to access the Chardonnet lakes or the Aiguille Percée before descending on foot via the trails.
