Mountain Shaker is a week of festivities based around 4 major events: the French Freeride Series, the FISE Xperience Series, Big Air World Cup and the ski & snowboard Slopestyle World Cup. The first two events are open to everyone, while the last two are a high-level events featuring the world's best riders in two freestyle disciplines.
And to make the most of these events and get you excited about the Mountain Shaker festival, we're offering a week of festivities: entertainment, free concerts, partner villages, games and prizes to be won, parties, film screenings, conferences... in short, everything you need for a colourful week!
The aim of this event is to bring together the best of "everything that rides". In March 2025, Tignes is organising the 4th Mountain Shaker: a week-long festival dedicated to board culture, with three major events on the programme :
Freeride competition open to all to launch Mountain Shaker week
The first highlight of the Mountain Shaker festival, the French Freeride Series event is a freeride competition open to juniors, amateurs and professionals. The competition will take place in the Tufs massif (the massif overlooking the frozen Lac de Tignes).
Indoor skateboard competition in the Tignespace skatepark
For the second highlight of the festival, we look forward to seeing you in the warmth of the Tignespace skatepark! A skateboarding event open to all (juniors, amateurs, professionals), the FISE Xperience Series gives you the chance to show your friends and the whole resort what you can do! And watch the pros perform!
A night-time big air freestyle competition featuring the world's best riders
The festival continues with the Slopestyle and Big Air World Cups! The Big Air is a competition in which riders perform tricks on a single jump. It will be held at Tignes Val Claret, where a huge bump will be specially shaped for the occasion. You'll have the chance to feast your eyes on the tricks performed by the athletes. The competition will close the big air season and award the crystal globe.
Freestyle competition with the best professional ski and snowboard riders from all over the world
The Slopestyle World Cup is coming to Tignes for the 3rd year running. For the occasion, meet from around the huge snow modules shaped on the 'Double M' slope (Tignes Val Claret). Come and watch the exceptional show put on by professional freestylers from all over the world, specially invited for the occasion!
