The resort of Tignes offers the exceptional opportunity to ski in summer. The Grande Motte glacier has slopes at an altitude of nearly 3000 m. These are accessible even during the months of June, July and August. What a pleasure to be able to ski all year round while enjoying the sunshine at this time of the year! The opportunity to have a drink on a panoramic terrace, wearing a pair of sunglasses.
In addition to skiing in the French Alps in summer, Tignes also offers you the possibility of pleasant glacier hikes at altitude, while benefiting from the ski lifts. You can try a glacier hike and try to climb the La Grande Motte glacier with a professional guide. You will be in the heart of the Vanoise National Park, in a lunar landscape, a perfect contrast to the richness of the incredible flora and fauna that can be discovered in the park.
