The France football team was in Tignes from May 18th to 25th for their traditional training at altitude, before a series of freindly matches, in Lens against Costa Rica (on the 26th : France won 2-0), in Tunisia (on the 30th : 1-1) and against China on June 4th, in Pierre de la Réunion. This training was particulary important when one know a few matches will take place in Johannesburg, at an altitude of 1800 metres (1/4 final and final).
Football, MTB, running… Their training programme was hectic! Many supporters got their blue shirt and came and cheered them on: training sessions were open to everyone at the "Eric Cantona" pitch, in Tignes Val Claret!
