The « Stade Français Paris » Club in short? 13 French National Championships titles, one 1999 France Cup winner title, finalist of France championships many times, 4 European Vice-champion titles - just to name a few of their impressive palmares-.
In July 2010, the team from Paris and its staff decided to train in Tignes to benefit from the altitude and oxygenation. The primary concern of this training was to work the physical condition and the endurance out of course but also to build the team with some “extra-rugby” activities such as ski. The mornings of the Parisians were dedicated to rugby trainings and weights sessions and the afternoons to mountain activities.
The “Stade Français Paris” ended up its training by a friendly match against the "LOU Rugby" on Eric Cantona stadium. 600 spectators came to encourage their favorite players. "LOU Rugby" finally won the match. A great moment of sport at 2100m of altitude!
