Amongst the greatest freestyle athletes who trained in Tignes in the past:
> Since winter 2010-2011: Freeski Project ( Kevin Rolland, Xavier Bertoni, Thomas Krief, Ben Valentin)
> Summer 2011: CoreUpt athletes who came for a team-building session (Justin Dorey, Ben Valentin, Julien Lange, Flo Bastien, Dale Talkington, Andri Ambuhl, but also Richard Permin and Adrien Coirier)
> Winter 2012-2013: "En route pour Sotchi" group, composed of French snowboardeurs (slopestyle)

Tignes' got freestyle under its skin, and the resort does its best to make sure the greatest athletes of the planet can come and train in the best conditions before the biggest sports competitions of the winter (Olympics, X Games, Dew Tour, Coupes du Monde, SFR Tour etc.).
A great opportunity for the French freestylers to train "at home", and no longer fly to the US to enjoy great half-pipes, but also an important stage in the trainings calendar of some international athletes!
The resort sets up all the facilities these high-level athletes need to practice their tricks and their winning runs!
Amongst the facilities that Tignes put at the athletes disposal regularly:
- The mythical superpipe used during the former editions of X Games Tignes and the Freestyle Tour
- A half-pipe shaped especially on the glacier before Sochi 2014
- Kicks and airbags
- A snowpark
- And of course: the "Lagon" aquatic centre (weight-training, fitness, swimming-pool, wellness area) and "Tignespace" sports centre (weight-training, trampolines etc.).
